Creator’s Haven 3.6

  • Added Player Type 8! This is the Platformer Player Type and is from Simple Platformer. It has much better physics than Player Type 7.
  • Added Volume Code to Crystal Tap to allow for only affecting certain volumes.
  • Added Volume Code, Move Time, and Enables to Water Volume. It is a device now.
  • Added Mud Volume - A thicker version of water with identical settings to the Water Volume.
  • New 4.0 Art! Since 4.0 is soon, many objects have received new art.

  • Added Pickup Spawner - Spawn objects from Hello Neighbor! Includes pretty much everything. Most objects retain their functionality, too! Like the TV, Rifle, Apple Shooter, Keys, Lockpick, and Magnet Gun all have their functionality. Try them out!
  • Added Door Device - Probably the device that has shown up on my to add lists the most. It can be opened, closed, locked, and unlocked. It works well with the keys from the pickup spawner.
  • Added Wild Broomstick Spawner - Spawn a Broomstick Variant that can teleport to a range of tiles.
  • Added Character Device - Place character models created by Werewolf Danger.
  • Added Pickup Detector - another way to use pickups other than doors.
  • Added Boombox - It’s back! This device is allowed to be added due to the game swapping to Itch.io. The device has all new music options, most are from Game Jams.
  • Added Enable settings and Move Speed to Spiked Spinner. It is a device now.
  • Added One Use? Setting to Target.
  • Added Pitch, Enables, Left / Right Position, and Stop all Sounds when receiving from to the Audio Device.
  • Added feature for Audio Device to be triggered by player contact and sequencers
  • Added Meow sound effect to Audio Device.
  • Added Hello Neighbor Gallery
  • Added Light Bulb Remote Gallery - Partner Opt-In
  • Added Spawn Location setting to Box Spawner
  • Added translations for the objects tab in Spanish and German.
  • Added Download for the game’s source code. It costs $3 because it’s very large and will receive updates over time.
  • Enabled “Remove Miscellaneous Limits” toggle in TurboWarp. This causes a few minor changes.
  • Reduced cost of Reset Stats (1111 -> 412).
  • Reduced cost of Boolean Device (1732 -> 1320).
  • Reduced cost of Audio Device (429 -> 151)
  • Organized Audio Device below logic.
  • Fixed Item Granter and Loadout Device not being categorized next to each other.
  • Fixed Entity Spawner not spawning the newer entities when set to random.
  • Fixed Sword Creator asking its settings twice.
  • Fixed Clones not being grabbed by Entity Grabbers like the Window and Duller.
  • Fixed Clones not being able to dive down in water or move properly as Player Type 7.
  • Fixed Clones not colliding with Barriers.
  • Fixed Water not detecting properly when multiple water volumes existed at once.
  • Fixed Party Event Location and Detention Cage Location being called Devices in the objects tab instead of functions.
  • Fixed Health Device not properly setting the correct health value sometimes.
  • Fixed Back to Start wall not triggering when hit by sequencers.
  • Fixed AI Device not displaying its potential options.

4.0

  • Added Movement Detector - Allows you to detect what actions the player is doing when checked. Detect running, jumping, walking, slow walking, diving, and crouching.
  • Added Claw - A device that can catch and hold the player in place.
  • Added List Manager - Allows you to add and remove entries from an unseen list of entries.
  • Added List Detector - Allows you to detect entries from this list. These two devices work together to allow creators to set up more complex logic by adding and tracking values.
  • Added Distance Detector - This device finally receives a 4.0 overhaul. It can now detect distance for more than just the player.
  • Added Interaction Boolean Device - A boolean device that the player can interact with by pressing E on it.
  • Added Pen - Use this device to draw colored lines. Expect more functionality soon.
  • Added Score Setter - Set the score of the player instead of just adding to it.
  • Added Rotation Mode setting to Structure Spawner - It was previously impossible to set the rotation for conveyors and rotohalls.
  • Added Random Position setting to Teleporter.
  • Added One Use? Setting to Teleporter.
  • Added Corrupted Bow - It’s a longbow, but with homing arrows! Guards can use it too!
  • Added Blue, Green, Red, Yellow, and White Keys to unlock the door device.
  • Added new visual design for Item Spawner.
  • Added new visual design for the Teleporter.
  • Removed Whirlpool and Rift when converted to 4.0 devices.
  • Reduced Cost for Item Spawner (360 -> 236).
  • Reduced Cost for Item Remover (444 -> 241).
  • Fixed Teleporter not teleporting the player if the player or a sequencer zone collided with it.
  • Fixed box detector double detecting enable and disable receives.
  • Fixed Arrows from the Longbow instantly killing Guards despite health values.
  • Fixed Arrows from the Longbow being off-center.
  • Fixed Box Detector and Teleporter just not working.
  • Fixed Musical devices being at the bottom of the organization.
