CURSED 1.1 Patch Notes


CURSED 1.1 is here. This update fixes many bugs, adds the Respawn Portal, Upgrading, and a bunch of other quality of life features. Read the patch notes here.

  • Added Respawn Portal - A structure that allows the player to respawn there if one exists.
  • Added Upgrading - Right-click on a (defense) structure to upgrade it. This will change the structure to a stronger version of itself.
    • Added Metal Door - an upgrade for doors
    • Added Maverick Door - an upgrade for trapped doors
  • Combined Traps and Copper Traps along with Barricades and Reinforced Barricades.
  • Added outdoor trees to add scenery and hide creature spawn locations.
  • Added furniture props to liven up the house a bit.
  • Added destroy animations to various objects.
  • Added WASD Controls
  • Added ability to rotate doors by right clicking them.
  • Updated HUD shop to be divided into two sections, the defense and misc. Objects.
  • Updated Ghosts to not scale with night number
  • Updated Demons to spawn during the day, making them a more unique obstacle.
  • Updated creature spawn locations to be hidden in trees.
  • Updated creature spawning in the backyard to scale by night number like the front yard.
  • Updated Ghosts, Demons, and Robbers to spawn in the backyard as well.
  • Updated all descriptions to include specific stats and more information.
  • Updated how max health works for objects and creatures. For creatures this change is not noticeable. For objects, max health no longer increases with night number.
  • Updated pre-placed doors to be movable.
  • Updated Desk and Bed to be able to be placed outside.
  • Updated music to not be constant, instead, mark the middle of a day or night.
  • Updated Collision - player now has natural collision with barricades, windows, and doors. Creatures use their own collision system for these objects.
  • Updated Trapped Doors to cost less.
  • Updated money producers to not be affected by global balls
  • Fixed objects collision with the edge of the world.
  • Fixed creatures having a low chance of not dying to a trap in one hit.
  • Fixed layering issues with various objects. Creatures and the player are always on top. Power Orbs are now layered on top of objects.
  • Fixed enemies and objects not displaying the correct opacity if their health was higher than usual.
  • Fixed Trapped Door description mentioning higher health, when the trapped door had identical stats.
  • Removed ability to manually heal doors. Manual healing might be removed for barricades in the future as well. It’s only really useful for windows since power balls can’t heal windows.
