Playground Nexus

What is Playground Nexus? Well, it's an editor game with hundreds of objects from many of my various games.

Game Modes

Playground Nexus will have multiple ways to play it:

1. Editor Mode - the primary way to play will allow you to create your very own levels.

2. Play Mode - Play levels created by the community!

3. Campaign Mode - Play a full campaign designed by me using the exact same level editor available.

As of January 4th, 2025, the game isn't out yet, so if you want to play it, check out The Voidborn Finale, a game made using Playground Nexus. Beating the game gives access to the editor so you can try it out!

Which Games

This game will have very few of its own original content, most objects will be from other games, imported in. So... which games?

1. Toxic Dread (1-3) - The Toxic Dread games are included, content from the first three, specifically.

2. Toxic Dread IV - The 4th Toxic Dread game is its own thing due to the updated art style and game mechanics.

3. Zero - This game is small, but has a big mechanic! The Background! As The Voidborn Finale shows off, you can build stuff in the background, and even send the player back there!

4. You're Ruined - Not just You're Ruined, but the whole series is included here. You can add Malzor and his buddies to hunt you down. They have all of their abilities, too!

5. The Reaper? - This game (which isn't out yet), is in this game! I won't share much about it here since it's not out yet.

6. Prison Break Outbreak - Prison Break is included partially, it won't have everything, but it will have a few major features.

7. Mini Puzzler - Mini Puzzler is included and has a good amount of unique top down mechanics... because you can make a top-down game or a platformer game.

8. Mineshaft Crossing - Mineshaft Crossing will be included too. Not many comments since its content isn't in-game yet.

9. Eyeclop - A newer platformer game is included here too!

10. Run - Another new platformer to the list! Remember, you can check all of these games out on their own pages,

11. MORE - Yes, even more games are included... even a couple major ones I haven't mentioned are coming soon...

Release Date?

No, I don't have one yet.

Problem with adding stuff from all sorts of different games: bugs. You wouldn't expect something from Mini Puzzler to ever collide with Toxic Dread, but in this game, they can!

More devlogs coming soon as I add major content to the game. New demos coming soon when I make more games using the editor.
